These are tough times. And many of us are feeling it in our wallets. But .. No matter how tough times are, we can't forget the basics. And rhinitis symptoms definitely is one of the basics. And, without the basics taken care of, how can you get started?
Below is one of the best articles we have ever read on the subject. It lays everything out nicely, it's easy to read, and, understand, it touches on all of the key issues, and, best of all, when you have finished reading it, you will definitely know which is a very good direction to take given your circumstances.

Rhinitis Symptoms

Rhinitis Allergy symptoms can vary tremendously from person to person, allergen to allergen and place to place. In one person, the symptoms of rhinitis might be the typical sneezing, stuffy nose and runny eyes. Another person might suffer a general feeling of illness or malaise or stomach problems that they don’t understand are related to allergies. The human immune system is extremely complicated, and there are many different ways it can become disturbed and overreact to allergens. Getting your rhinitis symptoms under control can take months or even years.

Most seasonal rhinitis allergy symptoms are pretty easy to diagnose. Many people are allergic to mold, grass, pollen in the air and other environmental allergens that come and go from month to month and from season to season. People with seasonal allergies may get sick during a certain week in April when a particular plant is in bloom or always get a flare up of sinus symptoms for a day or two after big rainstorm when there is more mold in the air. Treating these allergies is often pretty simple. Allergy sufferer can simply take an antihistamine when the allergies flare up and go medicine free for the rest of the year. For more severe seasonal allergies, they might have to take shots to desensitize them to the allergens.

Food allergy symptoms are a little more tricky. Food sensitivities and allergens vary tremendously, and can often develop later in life as a response to an illness or some other condition. Upset stomach is a common symptom of food allergies. Sufferers may also get headaches after certain foods or get a cloudy, uncomfortable feeling in their heads. Often, a wheat allergy, peanut allergy or other food symptom can go undiagnosed for a long time before suddenly flares up.

Treating allergies to food is unfortunately a little more complicated than treating environmental allergies. Almost always, you will have to avoid the food completely for quite a while. You may also have to go on a certain diet to reduce allergies and inflammation of your immune system so you can tolerate the food. Some food allergies never go away. Others clear up over time so that eventually you can eat the foods that used to bother you. Either way, having the help of a doctor is extremely beneficial. A doctor can test you for sensitivities, recommend medicines and supplements and monitor your progress. If your allergic condition does not improve, you can try other things until you get your symptoms under control.

Welcome to our website, which is devoted to the subject. Thousands of people search the internet looking for information about this every month. We have pulled all the best information together and put it under one roof.

We have separated the key issues and put them on their own pages to make them easier to access. You will find the posts highly informative, and while here, have a look at the comments as well. There are lots of great suggestions from our readers, in fact, share your own suggestions, we would love to hear them.

Before you do though, check out the article below: it is intelligently written and the author makes some insightful points.

By Edward Shalts

Seasonal allergies (a.k.a. “hay fever”) are enormously common, affecting at least 35.9 million people in the United States alone. In fact, approximately 16.7 million office visits to U.S. health care providers each year are attributed to allergic rhinitis.

Interestingly, homeopaths pioneered both the research on allergies and allergy treatment. In 1871, British homeopath C.H. Blackely suggested that seasonal sneezing and nasal discharge were the result of exposure to pollen. Later, American homeopath James Tyler Kent defined the practical principles of treating allergies with homeopathy. If someone develops an acute reaction to pollen (or another allergen), such as a running nose or itching, watery eyes, during the allergy season, this reaction is addressed first. After all, there is no need for anyone to suffer discomfort. Then, during the symptom-free season, a homeopath aims to find a so-called constitutional remedy that solves the problem on every level of a person’s being. It can take a while for the full affects of a remedy like this to be felt. But in the end, many other complaints and conditions usually drop away along with the symptoms of allergy.

Today conventional allergists use a desensitization process that resembles the homeopathic practice of “using like to cure like.” They give their patients a bit of the allergen (for example, tree pollen) to stimulate a reaction that the body overcomes, thus making the body stronger. However, their injections do not feature homeopathically prepared solutions. It’s a little known fact that a homeopath, Grant L. Selfridge, M.D., was the first president of the organization that is now called the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

How do you take homeopathic remedies? These specially prepared remedies are sold in health food stores and come in the form of small sweet pills. Buy remedies in concentration 30C. Place 5 pills under the tongue and let them dissolve. Repeat the dose in 15 minutes. If there is no improvement of symptoms at all in about 30 minutes after the second dose stop taking the remedy. Go see a doctor or go to the emergency room.

My book Easy Homeopathy describes many highly effective solutions for acute allergies. Here are six that you can start using today.

Allium cepa (made from red onion): Take Allium if you see the following signs. (Always compare these signs with the signs indicating a need for Euphrasia.)

•Irritating, caustic discharge from the nose that irritates the nose and the upper lip (opposite of Euphrasia)

•Bland discharge from the eyes (opposite of Euphrasia)

•Discharge from the nose and eyes in large amounts

•Nose eventually gets completely obstructed

•Frequently there is heaviness in the middle of the forehead and/or a headache that gets better when the nose drains freely

•Frequently the symptoms begin on the left side

•You feel worse: in the late afternoon and evening, and from being in a warm room

•You feel better: from open air, cold air

Apis mellifica (made from honeybee): More times than not this is the correct remedy to take for allergic reactions to beestings. Be prepared to give it on the way to the emergency room. Use it to relieve any severe allergic reaction that involves the following combination of key symptoms.

•Very significant swelling of the eyes. Sometimes eyes are literally bloodshot from swelling

•Heat and burning sensation of the face and the eyes

•Craves cold applications and is much improved by them

Arsenicum album (made from oxide of arsenic):

•Irritating watery discharge from the nose

•Dripping from the nose, which is completely obstructed

•Burning (eyes, nose, throat) that is better from hot drinks or hot applications

•Right side is mainly affected

•You feel better: from being in a warm room, warm drinks, and warm applications (compare to Allium cepa)

•You feel worse: from anything cold

Euphrasia officinalis (made from eyebright): (Always compare to Allium cepa.)

•Eyes feel irritated, burning and itching

•Tears are abundant and irritating, nasal discharge is bland (exactly opposite to Allium cepa)

•Worse: in the morning and from warm wind

•Better: upon lying down in bed at night

Sabadilla (made from cevadilla seed):

•Remarkable fits of sneezing. Some people sound like an automatic weapon

•Every fit of sneezing provokes tears

•Constant itching inside of the nose and/or the palate

•Worse: from cold and open air

•Better: from heat, being in a warm room, and warm drinks

Urtica urens (made from stinging nettle): This remedy is specifically used for allergic reactions to shellfish and stings by jellyfish. Look for:

•Itching hives with a prickling, burning sensation

•Hives that look like red, raised blotches with white centers

Now you are equipped with powerful weapons.

Find it here and be the first to know.
Allergic Rhinitis – Causes, Symptoms And Treatments

By James S. Pendergraft

Allergic rhinitis is a situation wherein you breathe something which you are allergic to causing inside of your nose swollen or inflamed. It causes irritation mostly in the eyes and nose. You can be allergic to dust, dander, pollen etc. Allergic Rhinitis is commonly referred as Hay fever. Allergic Rhinitis is a disease which is inherited from parent. If your parent have any respiratory disease like tuberculosis, asthma etc then the probability of you getting such a disease is 50 percent.

Causes

An allergen triggers allergy which are found both in outdoors as well as indoor. If you are suffering from Allergic Rhinitis and you breathe an allergen like dust or pollen, body releases a chemical causing swelling, mucus production and itching. Indoor allergens includes house dust mites, mold or dropping of cockroaches found inside the home.

Having symptoms in spring suggests that you are allergic to tree pollens.

Having symptoms in summer suggests that you are allergic to weed and grass pollens.

Having symptoms in late summer suggests that you have an allergy to ragweed.

A skin test by an allergist or immunologist can reveal which allergens are causing you symptoms. Your history of the symptoms prevalent are then recorded which vary depending on the season, time of day, diet changes and exposure to pet. There are also available some special blood tests which are done to assist with diagnosis.

Symptoms

- Severe headache

- Itching in nose, eyes, throat, mouth, skin or any other part.

- Coughing

- Sore throat

- Sneezing

- Problem with smell

- Nasal congestion

- Watery or tearing eyes

- Children with allergic rhinitis may have dark circles under eyes.

Treatment

Best treatment is avoiding the allergens itself that triggers Allergic Rhinitis. Though it may not be completely possible to avoid allergens but you may at least reduce your exposure to such allergens. There are varied medications accessible to treat Allergic Rhinitis, but your doctor may prescribe you depending upon the severity of symptoms and other factors like age and your prevailing medical condition.

There are nose sprays and Antihistamines available in your nearest medical store. They do provide relief and are helpful but they even cause side effects. Their main aim is to ease allergic symptoms like nasal itching, runny nose, sneezing and stuffy nose. After immediate relief though a proper treatment needs to be taken or symptoms may reoccur in more series.

Immunotherapy is another option of treatment. It involves gradually giving rising doses of substance to which a person is allergic to. It helps as immune system becomes less sensitive to that allergen by producing antibody which minimizes the symptoms.

Enhance your daily health care by avoiding any contact with allergens. You also need to keep away from stimulating foods like fish, shrimp, other seafood and crab. Eat more of nourishing food. Also quit smoking and as far as possible stay away from passive smoking. Try to stay away from outdoor polluted air.

Allergic Rhinitis should not stop you from going out of your home.
